Bikinis and boardies will light up the sand on Camps Bay beach for the Café Caprice Beach Volleyball Day in partnership with Savanna Premium Cider.
In years gone by, model agencies, groups of mates and Café Caprice staff and locals have shed sweat and tears to get their hands on the coveted trophy. Who will win it this year? It’s time to find your perfect serve and volley, and then finish it all off back in the clubhouse with an ice-cold Savanna this Saturday 18th February.
Be sure to tune in today at 2pm when our station manager, Rhowan Johannes chats to Tammy Lederle.
In preparation for the day, Café Caprice have hosted a series of friendly warm-up matches at the #SavannaSummer Beach Series which have been taking place from the Camps Bay beach front. We have spotted some healthy local and international talent practicing ahead of time to get match fit! If beach life, beautiful people and a bit of friendly volleyball isn’t tempting enough, there will be a fair share of entertainment and incredible prizes on offer both on and off the courts.
The #SavannaSummer warm-up series will continue to take place in sunshine and light ocean breeze conditions in the lead up to the final tournament day. There are limited spots available left for the finals day, and if you are already registered to play, come down and practice at the nets during the week leading up to the event. The Savanna Beach Series net and deck chairs will be up daily from 12noon – 5pm in front of Café Caprice, and afterwards you may get a 2-for-1 voucher for a Savanna in store.
